Nathan Burns (Wellington Phoenix)
Scored the first hat-trick in Wellington’s history against the hapless Melbourne City on Sunday and is now knocking on the door of a spot in Ange Postecoglou’s squad for January’s Asian Cup.
Leigh Broxham (Melbourne Victory)
Broxham is having his best season yet and was superb against the Reds on Friday night.
He has been excellent in which ever position Kevin Muscat has asked him to play this season.
Dino Djulbic (Perth Glory)
The big centre-back scored a sublime first-time volley against Brisbane on Saturday and was solid as a rock for the most part in defence.
Rostyn Griffiths (Perth Glory)
Griffiths was a dominant presence in the midfield against the Roar, stifling Bribane’s creative threats as well as being efficient in possession himself.
A real key player in the Glory’s early season success.
Roly Bonevacia (Wellington Phoenix)
The Dutchman provided the Phoenix midfield with plenty of energy in their 5-1 demolition of Melbourne City and capped off an impressive performance by getting on the scoresheet.
