CaughtOffside has compiled a list of nine dream candidates who have NEVER managed in the Premier League before. Who would you most like to see at your club? Let us know below.

9) Vincenzo Montella (Fiorentina)

Led Fiorentina to the Coppa Italia final last season. Has also taken charge of Catania and AS Roma, who he started his managerial career with on a caretaker basis. Still young for a manager at 40, and knows England from his brief time with Fulham.

8) Unai Emery (Sevilla)

Masterminded Sevilla’s Europa League triumph, as well as a decent start to their current league season. Also has experience with Spartak Moscow and Valencia, having retired from playing in 2004. Still only 43-years-old.

7) Jurgen Klinsmann (USA National Team)

His arrival in the Premier League would certainly be welcomed by Tottenham Hotspur fans, following his successful time at White Hart Lane as a player. Doesn’t have much experience in club management, having lasted just a year with Bayern Munich, but has done well with both the German and American national teams.

6) Marcelo Bielsa (Marseille)

Took over at the French club earlier this year, and has taken them to the top of the Ligue 1 standings. The vastly expeienced 59-year-old has also spent time with Athletic Bilbao, Chile and Argentina, with a strong record almost everywhere he’s been.

5) Laurent Blanc (Paris Saint Germain)

Has taken both Bordeaux and Paris Saint-Germain to the French title, and has also had a spell with the French national team. Now needs to prove that he can manage outside of his comfort zone, and not with a country’s most dominant side.

4) Frank de Boer (Ajax)

Has been with the Dutch giants since 2010, masterminding four successive league wins. He was also the Netherlands’ assistant manager during their run to the final of the 2010 World Cup. Has developed a new collection of youngster, sold them on for a huge profit, and still kept his team performing well.

3) Jurgen Klopp (Borussia Dortmund)

Has led the ultimate revival at the German club, taking them to two German league titles and the Champions League final. They have struggled so far this season, but that should not take away from the outstanding job he has done at the club.

2) Diego Simeone (Atletico Madrid)

Led the Spanish side to the La Liga title, and within mere moments of a Champions League win last season, firmly establishing himself as one of the best managers in Europe. His team have kept those performances going this season, despite the loss of a couple of key players.

1) Pep Guardiola (Bayern Munich)

One of the greatest managers of the modern era – he made Barcelona into one of the best teams of all time, and has more recently ensured that an already excellent Munich side have maintained their high standards. Could he ever come to manage in England?
