Man City midfielder favours old team-mate.
Manchester City midfielder Frank Lampard says that in-form striker Sergio Aguero is the best striker in the world at the moment, but not as good as his old Chelsea team-mate Didier Drogba was at his best, according to the Manchester Evening News.

The 36-year-old was full of praise for Aguero after his sensational hat-trick helped the club to a surprise win over Bayern Munich in the Champions League this week, but wouldn’t commit to saying he was the best player he’d ever played with.
Lampard was a surprise signing by City this season, joining the Premier League champions on loan from MLS outfit New York City FC after calling time to a long career at Stamford Bridge.
Regarded as a Chelsea legend, the former England international’s move to rivals City has been seen as quite controversial, though he clearly still holds his old club close to his heart after reserving special praise for his old colleague Drogba.
Asked if Aguero was the best he’d played with, Lampard said: “He’s one of them. I am fortunate enough to have played with Didier Drogba who for me was the greatest, but it is very hard to compare those two because their style is so different.”
The Ivory Coast forward, back at Chelsea on a short-term deal this season, scored 157 goals for the Blues in his first spell with the club beetween 2004 and 2012, helping them to a whole host of major honours, including the Champions League trophy in his final appearance at the end of that first spell.
