Tyrone Mings (Ipswich Town)

Arsenal’s search for versatile defensive cover seems to have led them to Ipswich Town’s rising star Tyrone Mings, according to the Daily Mirror.

The 21 year old can play along the back line and is seen by Arsene Wenger as a long term centre back option.

Ipswich would want £10 million for the left back and may hope for a bidding war with reports Chelsea are also interested in their search for a successor to John Terry.

Nathan Redmond (Norwich City)

England U-21 winger Nathan Redmond could be just the man Brendan Rodgers is looking for to save Liverpool’s season with the Daily Star reporting the Reds’ serious interest in the Norwich City man.

With the Anfield side unable to rely on the fitness of crocked striker Daniel Sturridge and Raheem Sterling’s ever increasing tiredness, Redmond may be just the man to bolster their misfiring forward line.

Will Hughes (Derby Country)

Derby youngster Will Hughes has been a name continually linked with the Premier League for a couple of seasons, but the 19 year old midfielder seems to just care about his football, recently scoring to help England’s U-21s beat Croatia and qualify for next years European championship.

With two goals and two assists already this season, the Young Lion is still catching the eye of Liverpool, Manchester United and Arsenal according to the Daily Express.

Sam Byram (Leeds United)

Another young, versatile defender, Sam Byram was the subject of much speculation in the summer with a £4.5m Southampton bid for the right back falling short of Leeds’ valuations.

However, the Express reported both Liverpool and Leicester City were still in the market for Byram toward the end of the summer window. Will they re-ignite their interest come January?

Troy Deeney (Watford)

The Watford captain was linked heavily with Leicester in the summer and Sky Sports report the forward has become increasingly frustrated at the Hornets’ stance on his future.

Deeney is said to have been close to handing in a transfer request in August and with the Foxes, QPR and Burnley all linked it looks like the 26 year old’s situation will continue to be the cause of much speculation.
