Perhaps we shouldn’t be too surprised that Barcelona’s £65 million summer transfer hasn’t made the official UEFA Team of the Year given the World Cup controversies surrounding the Uruguayan. However, there is no doubting Suarez’s immense talent and the contribution he made to Liverpool’s title push last season, almost single handedly winning the Anfield side their first League title in 14 years.
