The youngster has hinted at a potential Anfield switch.
Belgian news site HLN has revealed that wonderkid Thibaud Verlinden had a trial with Liverpool in the summer, and that the Reds are one of several Premier League teams interested in signing him, along with additional interest from Italy.
The 15-year-old, son of former Club Brugge goalkeeper Dany, visited Anfield in August when he was in England for the U-16’s match between England and Belgium.
Scouts were impressed by his performance in the match, and the youngster then headed off to the Reds’ Melwood training ground to train.

Verlinden is still on a youth contract, and will be able to sign professional terms when he turned 16 on the 9th of July next year.
Recent changes to FIFA rules make youngsters like Verlinden much more available for English clubs to poach, and after developing him Standard Liege will likely lose the talent for nothing.
As evident from the tweet above, Verlinden Sr. denies his son has agreed terms with any clubs yet, but by the sounds of things, he won’t be short of offers.
