Attacking midfielders
Ross Barkley – If the 20-year-old fulfills his potential that he could be the focal point of the attack by the time the competition comes around.
Adam Lallana – Solid and a useful substitute, Lallana will be hoping he has established himself at Liverpool even more in two years time.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain – Will be approaching his 23rd birthday by the time the tournament starts and Oxlade-Chamberlain could well be a stalwart in the starting XI by then.
Raheem Sterling – The 19-year-old is the nation’s most exciting prospect and if all goes to plan Sterling will be formidable in France.
Theo Walcott – Has always been a useful addition for club and country and his pace and trickery adds another dimension to the squad.
