Rafa Benitez has hinted at a possible return to Liverpool at the end of the season according to the Metro.

The Napoli manager regularly returns to Merseyside, with his family still based in the area, and has revealed that it’s ‘not easy’ to be so far away from his wife and children, stating;
Rafael Benitez has hinted that he wants to move back to Liverpool at the end of the season – amid growing speculation that he could replace Brendan Rodgers as Reds boss.
‘My wife and daughters still live in Liverpool. It’s not easy.
‘The Napoli owner knows how important family is for me.’
Benitez is still held in high regard by Liverpool fans and the betting odds on his returning to replace Brendan Rodgers have been slashed in recent weeks.
Rodgers guided his side to a runners-up spot in the Premier League last term which resulted in a long awaited return to the Champions League, however this season hasn’t panned out quite so well for the Northern Irishman though talk of his possible exit does seem more than a tad harsh.
Benitez spent six years in charge of Liverpool between 2004 and 2010 and guided the club to a great deal of success, the pinnacle of his reign being the famous 2005 Champions League triumph over AC Milan.
