Did very little in his time on the pitch, and was replaced at half time.
Wayne Rooney: 8/10
Clever run dragged Scottish defenders out to allow Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain to ghost in to score, and was alert in the box to score his goal just after half time. Grabbed a poacher’s effort late on to seal the win.
Danny Welbeck: 6/10
Danny Welbeck could be one of the best strikers in the world off the ball, but on it he still has plenty of work to do. Still, his unselfish movement helps those around him play well, and Daniel Sturridge will have to work hard to earn back his place.
