The likes of Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea, Manchester United and Manchester City could be all set to let some top class individuals leave in clear-outs this winter, with some unhappy at a lack of first-team opportunities and some just not quite good enough to work their way into the team on a regular basis, even if they would likely play every week at most teams in Europe!
See below for our unwanted Premier League XI of players who could be heading for the exit this January, which certainly looks good enough to mount a top four challenge and perhaps more…
GK: Petr Cech (Chelsea)
Unable to get into the starting lineup at Chelsea at the moment, Petr Cech has been linked with the likes of Arsenal and Real Madrid in recent times.

DC: Chris Smalling (Manchester United)
Linked with a move to Arsenal, Chris Smalling is one of the disappointing players on the books at Manchester United at the moment and surely one who could leave for the right price.
DC: Matija Nastasic (Manchester City)
Despite starting brightly at Manchester City, Matija Nastasic has been poor of late and no longer looks a regular at the Etihad Stadium, with rumours suggesting he could leave for around £5m this January.
DC: Vlad Chiriches (Tottenham Hotspur)
Possibly heading for a quick exit from Tottenham after only joining the club last summer, the once-promising Vlad Chiriches is now another struggling for playing time.
DM: Ander Herrera (Manchester United)
Linked with an exit already, Ander Herrera could leave Manchester United after struggling to make an impression for Louis van Gaal’s side this season.
DM: Yaya Toure (Manchester City)
Still a regular for City, but Yaya Toure’s drastic dip in form this season has led to strong speculation that the club would be ready to offload him for the right price this January.
AMR: Andre Schurrle (Chelsea)
Recently linked with Liverpool and Tottenham, Andre Schurrle is another top player struggling to get into the Chelsea team due to the immense competition for places at Stamford Bridge.
AML: Lukas Podolski (Arsenal)
A player who has dropped to the bench due to new signings at Arsenal this summer, Lukas Podolski is likely to be on his way out of the club this winter as Inter Milan and Napoli show an interest.
AMC: Juan Mata (Manchester United)
Another fairly new United player looking set for a quick exit, Juan Mata has been in and out of the team this season and is thought to be available for just £20m this January, with Atletico Madrid among those interested.
FC: Mario Balotelli (Liverpool)
Despite being a regular for Liverpool so far this season, £16m flop Mario Balotelli will surely lose his place when Daniel Sturridge returns from injury, with rumours linking him with a quick exit to Napoli this January while the Reds track other striker targets.
FC: Stevan Jovetic (Manchester City)
A disappointing signing from last summer, Manchester City striker Stevan Jovetic is not looking likely to have a long-term future with the club after struggling to get into the team on a regular basis.
