How England will line up against Slovenia in their Euro qualifier this weekend.
England are already well on the march toward qualification to France in just over 18 months time, but they can by no means rest on their laurels yet. Slovenia may not be an overly difficult tie, but they do have the capability to pull off a nasty shock. So, with that in mind Roy Hodgson will have to put out a strong and balanced side and putting the midweek clash with Scotland on the back burner.

GK: Joe Hart
Hodgson will look to his regular number one to continue the good work he’s done until now.
RB: Nathaniel Clyne
Clyne has been in explosive form for Southampton so far this season and has been rightly rewarded for his performances. Could play from the start.
CB: Gary Cahill
Will be expected to marshall the back line in typical fashion. Hasn’t put a foot wrong yet.
CB: Phil Jagielka
‘Jags’ has been in fine goalscoring form for club and country recently, so he’ll be hoping for more of the same.
LB: Kieran Gibbs
The Gunners star will make his long awaited comeback to the national side and will likely get in ahead of Luke Shaw.
DM: Jordan Henderson
The Liverpool man has made the base of the diamond his own and will likely stay there for the time being.
LCM: James Milner
Milner may find himself a little more tucked in this time as he takes up a slightly more inverted role.
RCM: Jack Wilsere
Ditto for Wilshere.
AM: Raheem Sterling
Continuing in his new found role in behind the strikers, he will push Rooney further forward.
ST: Wayne Rooney
Rooney would love to mark his 100th cap with a goal, so expect him to be shooting on sight all night.
ST: Danny Welbeck
Welbz will partner his former club mate up front and will most likely be playing second fiddle.
