Here are the top ten passers in the 2014/15 Champions League so far:

10) Gerard Pique – Barcelona – 95.6%

Having played in two of Barcelona’s games so far, the Spanish defender has even managed to get on the score-sheet for the La Liga giants as well.

9) Pepe – Real Madrid – 95.7%

With 180 minutes of Champions League football this season, Pepe has been calm and patient at the back. Not his usual self at all.

8) Marc Bartra – Barcelona – 96.1%

Pique’s partner at times, Bartra has showed passing quality and experience well beyond his years.

7) Toni Kroos – Real Madrid – 96.2%

For a midfielder who often plays an advanced role, Toni Kroos’ pass success rate is absolutely outstanding. Making appearances in all three of Real Madrid’s games his figures are one of the most impressive on this list.

6) Martin Demicheilis – Manchester City – 96.3%

With the Argentine not venturing forward too much, he has plenty of time on the ball and often simply drops the ball back to his keeper or centre-back partner.

5) Carlao – APOEL Nicosia – 96.6%

The only player on this list to have played every minute of every game in the Champions League so far this season.

4) Asier Illarramendi – Real Madrid – 96.8%

A bit part player for Real Madrid at the moment, the Spaniard has completed just 116 minutes of Champions League football this campaign.

3) Diego Capel – Sporting CP – 100%

With just 14 minutes on the pitch it’s not surprise that Capel hasn’t yet managed to misplace any passes.

2) Lukas Podolski – Arsenal – 100%

The German forward may have only played a total of 20 minutes in his two substitute appearances, but he was in a very advanced role and even bagged a very late winner for the Gunners against Anderlecht.

1) Loic Remy – Chelsea – 100%

Chelsea’s summer signing also grabbed himself a goal despite his short time on the pitch. With just over half an hour played in his two appearances, he is now set to miss out with an injury.
