10. Alberto Moreno, Liverpool – 7.36
Made the £12m switch from Sevilla over the summer and since has had a steady, if unremarkable, start to life at Anfield and with the Reds struggling in Europe the left-back is one of the few to impress with one assist.
9. Calum Chambers, Arsenal – 7.40
Has really taken to life in North London following a £16m summer switch from Southampton and has been gaining valuable European experience and has also contributed one assist.
8. Alexis Sanchez, Arsenal – 7.42
The new signings just keep on coming as Sanchez joined the Gunners from FC Barcelona in a £35m deal and in this tournament has a goal and an assist.
7. Javier Manquillo, Liverpool – 7.44
Loaned to Anfield by Atletico Madrid this right-back has hardly knocked the Reds fans for six, but the 20-year-old is clearly doing a steady job in defence judging by these stats.
6. Laurent Koscielny, Arsenal – 7.50
It’s clear how much Arsene Wenger’s side miss this France international when he’s injured and as good a job as Chambers does when filling in at centre-back, Koscielny is a much more reliable figure.
5. Filipe Luis, Chelsea – 7.58
Despite it taking some time for the £15.8m summer signing to get his chance in the league ahead of Cesar Azpilicueta, the Brazilian has started every match in the Blues’ promising European campaign to date.
4. Kieran Gibbs, Arsenal – 7.68
Back to the Emirates Stadium now and this full-back has really come on in leaps and bounds under the guidance of Wenger and even found the net for a rare goal in their last outing against Anderlecht.
3. Cesc Fabregas, Chelsea – 7.88
Another new signing and Fabregas boasts plenty of experience in this competition – although has never won it – and has been an instant hit at Stamford Bridge with a goal and two assists in this tournament.
2. Nemanja Matic, Chelsea – 8.10
Scored the winning goal in an important 1-0 away win over Sporting Lisbon, but it is the defensive work of this Serbian in midfield that really makes him such an asset to Jose Mourinho.
1. Eden Hazard, Chelsea – 8.56 rating
Leading the pack and it’s an attacking midfielder who is impressing once again for the West Londoners and in the Champions League has two goals and an assist.
