Looking at the depth of young talent in world football right now, we could be set to enter a golden age of the sport, with this XI of exciting teenage talent the best that we can put together and looking pretty tasty:
GK) Simone Scuffet (Udinese and Italy)
Already a first choice goalkeeper for Udinese in Serie A and the natural successor to Gianluigi Buffon, Simone Scuffet has a huge future ahead of him.
RB) Tin Jedvaj (AS Roma and Croatia)
Jedvaj is spending this season on loan at Bayer Leverkusen from AS Roma and already has two Bundesliga goals to his name.
CB) Doria (Olympique Marseille and Brazil)
Powerful Brazilian youth international made the move to Europe and Marseille this summer – big things are expected of the 19 year-old.

ARM) Zakaria Bakkali (PSV Eindhoven and Belgium)
An Eredivisie regular and Belgian international at the age of just 18, winger Zakaria Bakkali has the world at his feet.
ACM) Raheem Sterling (Liverpool and England)

ALM) Martin Odegaard (Stromsgodset and Norway)
The fact that he is a full Norwegian international and key player for high flying Stromsgodset at the age of just 15 is an indicator of Odegaard’s huge potential.
