England and Germany wonderkids included in top six players who could be set to break the transfer record…
Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi are known as the two best and probably most valuable players in the world at the moment. They don’t appear to be leaving La Liga anytime soon however, so no matter how much they may be valued at they are unlikely to ever break the transfer record again.
But which players in the current generation are likely to break the £100m mark?

Here are the top six players who might break the transfer record in the next few years:
6) Gareth Bale
Although the Welsh superstar has only recently moved to Real Madrid from Tottenham, there have already been suggestions that he may be forced out of the club.
His inability unwillingness to track back and defend have seen many brand him as a liability, with Los Blancos’ midfield looking far more balanced with the likes of Isco in the team.
Manchester United are thought to be interested in bringing Bale back to the Premier League, and it’s certainly possible that a player of his quality could go for over £100m.
5) Eden Hazard
Possibly the most likely player to fetch a record breaking fee, the Belgian is consistently linked with a move abroad despite stating his intent to remain with Chelsea.
Hazard is already a world class player, and is arguably very close to being welcomed into the elite circle along with the likes of Ronaldo and Messi.
If Chelsea ever decide to sell then it’s not unthinkable that a team like PSG could come in with a record breaking bid.
4) Mario Gotze
When he made the controversial move to Bayern Munich, many felt that Gotze’s ability and potential would be stifled by the abundance of talent already at the club. The young German has excelled with the Bundesliga giants however, and his stock has continued to rise.
He may not be worth a record breaking fee just yet, but at just 22-years-old there is plenty of time for him to grow further.
3) Neymar
Having already made one massive move to Barcelona, Neymar has continued his meteoric rise and is fast becoming one of the best players in the world.
Barcelona will be reluctant to sell a player of his quality as they undoubtedly see him as the future of the club, but if a sale ever does happen then you can be sure it will be a record breaker.
2) Paul Pogba
Record breaking fees are usually reserved for strikers or attacking midfielders, but if there is one player who could buck that trend it’s former Manchester United star Paul Pogba.
The 21-year-old is already believed to hold an asking price of over £60m, with a number of top European clubs looking to prise him away from Juventus.
If he turns into the dominant complete midfielder he has the potential to be then he could go for far, far more than that.
1) Raheem Sterling
Liverpool starlet Raheem Sterling has already attracted the attention of Real Madrid, and despite still being a teenager he is already showing signs of being a vital player for both club and country.
If he continues his development at this rate then he could become one of the greats of world football.
The young Englishman’s potential alone is enough to drive his price through the roof, and with Brendan Rodgers allegedly trying to tie the youngster down to a new long term contract to ward off any potential suitors his value could continue to soar.
