Ligue 1 giants made Reds a tantalising offer this summer.
Reports this week emerged that Barcelona weren’t the only club interested in buy Luis Suarez from Liverpool with PSG making an offer to exchange Edinson Cavani for the controversial hit man before he opted to head to Spain, according to France Football.

PSG apparently made their offer for Suarez in the days following his now infamous bite on Italy defender Giorgio Chiellini at the World Cup when it became abundantly clear that he would be moving on from Anfield at some point during the transfer window.
And the Parisians sought to tempt the Reds by offering Cavani in exchange, who had apparently been unhappy in the French capital as he continued to play second fiddle to Zlatan Ibrahimovic, and they believed that his physical attributes would make him a perfect fit for the Premier League.
However, Suarez had already had his heart set on a move to Barcelona, as his wife’s family lived in the area.
The Reds then tried to include Alexis Sanchez as part of the deal but he instead opted to move to Arsenal.
