Luis Suarez has extinguished any faint hopes that Liverpool fans had about him returning to Anfield one day by saying that he wants to remain at new club Barcelona for the rest of his career, the Daily Star reports.

The Uruguay international is set to make his debut for the Catalan club in El Clasico at the weekend, with his four month ban for biting Giorgio Chiellini at the World Cup set to expire.
While presenting Suarez with the European Golden Shoe, Kenny Dalglish joked that the striker could always return to Liverpool on loan but the 27-year-old appears to have dashed all hopes of that ever happening.
“I won’t be angry, I want to help my teammates and show what I can do as a player,” Suarez told TV3.
“I just want to play, I don’t care what position.
“It’s a dream come true to play for a team that you’ve always wanted to play for and if I have the opportunity to retire here, at Barca.
“It would be the perfect end to my career and I’d like to continue living in Barcelona for the love and care of my family.”
