The Spanish international held talks with the north London club ahead of the World Cup last summer but the Gunners were unable to convince the experienced forward to leave the Barcelona side he has represented since the age of 17.
Pedro saw his first team spot limited last term by the arrival of Neymar and the subsequent purchase of Luis Suarez from Liverpool will no doubt have a further impact on the Tenerife born star’s chances of regular starts and as such the two time Champions League winner may well be considering his options.
