The Manchester United legend and Aston Villa/Ireland Number 2 is currently sporting a salt-and-pepper grizzly beard that’s giving him the allure of a 17th century explorer…or Gandalf.
And when the folks over at talkSPORT hit the streets of London to find out exactly what the female population thought of his whiskers they got a delightedly varied response.
Whilst some genuinely seem to like it, others think he more closely resembles a “farmer” or a “pub landlord”.
It seems that it’s more popular than not, though, leaving us to only hope that he keeps it for the foreseeable future.
