The 21-year-old caught the eye of several top clubs with his performances for national side Honduras at this summer’s World Cup, and he is a player who has been on Spurs’ radar before after he had a trial with the north Londoners earlier in his career.
The skillful and intelligent player is now believed to be one of Mauricio Pochettino’s top targets for the January transfer window as the Argentine tactician looks to continue strengthening his squad for a top four challenge this season.
Najar has impressed with Anderlecht this season and Tottenham will have scouts watch him play when he comes up against Arsenal in the Champions League, with the two teams set to meet in their next game in the group stages of the competition.
Najar could then be about to make his way to the Premier League this winter if he continues to impress, and it is thought that he would only cost around £4m, which looks a real bargain for a player of such fine potential.
