DC: John Terry (Chelsea)
Another Chelsea player who shone against Arsenal, defender and captain John Terry was key in keeping the visitors quiet at Stamford Bridge, showing he can still more than cut it in the big games.
DC: Curtis Davies (Hull City)
One of the most under-rated defenders in the Premier League, Curtis Davies was in fine form for Hull City this weekend as they overcame in-form Crystal Palace with an impressive 2-0 win.

MC: Cesc Fabregas (Chelsea)
Not his best game this season perhaps, but still a big match which Cesc Fabregas influenced greatly. MR: Eden Hazard (Chelsea)
A player who has not quite been at his best so far this season, but Eden Hazard was in excellent form against Arsenal as his dazzling solo run won a penalty which he then converted with his usual composure. The Belgian international certainly stepped up for this big game and showed his quality when it mattered.
ML: Angel Di Maria (Manchester United)
Another fine display from Manchester United’s big summer signing, Angel Di Maria scored a well-taken opening goal against Everton and then set up the winner for Radamel Falcao. FC: Diego Costa (Chelsea)
Another game and another goal for Chelsea striker Diego Costa, who finished superbly from another Cesc Fabregas assist in the 2-0 win over Arsenal this weekend. The Spaniard looks unstoppable this season as he continues to march on to what will surely be his Golden Boot win to lose.
FC: Radamel Falcao (Manchester United)
Despite missing a few chances, Manchester United striker Radamel Falcao did superbly to get off the mark for the Red Devils, showing the world class predatory instincts that have seen him become one of the best strikers in the world as he stabbed home a well-taken winner against Everton at Old Trafford.
