Reds receive boost in chase for exciting forward.
Liverpool have been boosted in their pursuit of highly-rated Lazio youngster Keita Balde Diao as the Daily Mirror reports that his asking price has dropped from £24m to just £15m.

The talented 19-year-old, a former product of Barcelona’s famed La Masia youth academy, has been in impressive form in his time with the Serie A side, though he looks to have fallen out of favour in the first-team this season.
This could see Liverpool make a move for him this January, with Lazio ready to sell the unsettled attacker for around £15m, and with the Reds keen to improve their squad after a difficult start to the campaign.
Having lost Luis Suarez over the summer, with the Uruguayan making the £75m switch to Barcelona, Brendan Rodgers’ side have struggled to replace his influence upfront, and Keita could make a superb addition.
The youngster can fill in a variety of roles out wide or upfront, and could also give the club a welcome boost as they sweat over the future of contract rebel Raheem Sterling, who is attracting interest from Paris Saint-Germain as he stalls on committing his future to the Merseyside giants.
