The second top class attacking talent to be linked with Anfield is Paris Saint Germain forward Ezequiel Lavezzi – but the Reds could face competition from across Europe for the Argentinian international as his contract at the Parc des Princes begins to wind down towards its completion. Lavezzi has never quite found the form in Paris that he once displayed with Napoli, perhaps due to the fact that he has always been behind the likes of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Edinson Cavani when it comes to being the main man in attack – something that could, potentially, be different on Merseyside.
