Arsenal came from behind to secure a 1-1 draw with local rivals Tottenham Hotspur in Saturday night’s North London Derby at the Emirates Stadium.
Nacer Chadli fired Spurs ahead on 56 minutes, before Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain netted a leveller 16 minutes from full time.
But were the Gunners denied another goal – moments after Chadli’s opener?
Per Mertesacker’s header was saved by Spurs goalkeeper Hugo Lloris close to his goal-line, before the French stopper clawed the ball to safety.
Referee Michael Oliver was not notified that the ball had gone in by goal-line technology, so play continued.
Many Arsenal fans took to Twitter to express their bemusement that a goal had not been awarded, using a still image to make their point.
However, a video from a different angle seems to show that the correct decision was made.
