With every new FIFA release there are a whole host of new youngsters that we are all eager to use and see just how good they are in the virtual world. This year is no different, and the youngsters available this time have some serious potential for self improvement. Below are the ten best with their current ratings and how high they can climb.

10. Stephan El Shaarawy – AC Milan
The 21-year-old has seen his career blighted by injuries as of late, but EA have still given him a respectable 80. Should you get the best out of the winger he can climb as high as 87.
9. Adnan Januzaj – Manchester United
Having made his breakthrough last season to great effect the young Belgian starts out with a slightly demure 75. However, he can rocket up to 87 with the right guidance.
8. Lazar Markovic – Liverpool
Despite a fantastic season last year and a massive £20m move to Anfield this summer, the Serbian midfield ace has been warded a score of just 78. No matter, though, should he take to English football he will be valued at 87, definitely making him a player to use correctly.
7. Max Meyer – Schalke 04
The Schalke starlet is starting the game of with a not too shabby rating of 75, and as he improves with ever passing game the chances of his stats rising are increasing, too. Meyer has the potential to reach 87 in this years game and can reached by players looking to go long on development.
6. Juan Manuel Iturbe – Roma
Roma’s new signing lit up Serie A last year with Hellas Verona, and has earned himself a starting score of 75. Fear not, though, as he grows over the seasons he can develop up to a score of 88.
5. Raphael Varane – Real Madrid
Already a key member of the Real Madrid side in the real world and thanks to that he’s got himself a handy rating of 80. However, he can rise up to 88 should he perform well, which means he will be set up for an even higher ranking next year.
4. Memphis Depay – PSV Eindhoven
The Dutch winger made a huge impression in the Eredivise last term, and had his future star status confirmed at the World Cup this summer. Another player that will start out with a 78 rating, Depay could see his rating sky rocket by ten points should be played correctly.
3. Aymeric Laporte – Athletic Bilbao
The classy young centre-back is clearly highly rated by all involved in the game as he currently enjoys a strong rating of 81. His potential could see him rise a further seven points to 88, highlighting just what a supers talent in the making he is.
2. Youri Tielemans – Anderlecht
The young striker may only be 17, but he has still been deemed good enough to clock up a starting rating of 73. However, such is his high standing on the game, he can make it all the way up to 88 if he makes the necessary impact.
1. Paul Pogba – Juventus
The France midfielder is already well on his way to becoming a finished article in the game and because of his superb form over the past two years has been good enough to give him a ranking of 83. Should his development continue at the same rate he can climb up to the heady heights of 89.
