FIFA 15 Premier League XI
England are no different, with this being the strongest XI available to Roy Hodgson according to the game, with the likes of Ashley Cole and Steven Gerrard, retired from international football, having their wishes respected:
GK) Joe Hart 82
The Manchester City man is clear first choice for England, both on the game and in reality.
RB) Phil Jones 79
A lack of quality at right back means that Phil Jones has to be accommodated out of position.
CB) Gary Cahill 81
The Chelsea man is England’s best centre back, both on the game and in real life for both Hodgson and Chelsea counterpart Jose Mourinho.
CB) Phil Jagielka 80
The Everton man partners Cahill in this side, just as he did in England’s frustrating World Cup campaign.
LB) Leighton Baines 82
His teammate at Goodison Park, Leighton Baines, has flourished in recent seasons and is now rated as one of England’s strongest players.
CM) James Milner 80
The versatile Manchester City man James Milner is needed to play in the centre due to a lack of options.
CM) Jack Wilshere 81
Arsenal star Jack Wilshere is key to England’s chances of progressing, with a lack of quality young midfielders challenging for a place in the side.
RW) Theo Walcott 81
Seems to prefer playing upfront, but to accommodate him in this side the Arsenal man has to play as a winger.
LW) Raheem Sterling 80
Scrapes into this team but is a key player for the Three Lions in real life and their most exciting young prospect.
SC) Wayne Rooney 86
The England captain is comfortably rated as their best player on the game, an opinion not shared by everyone in the real world.
SC) Daniel Sturridge 83
Theoretically the Three Lions should have an impressive strike force, with Liverpool’s Daniel Sturridge rated as their next best performer.
