Liverpool have been given the green light on their request for planning permission and will now begin work on extending Anfield.

Liverpool Echo City editor Marc Waddington took to Twitter to confirm that Liverpool council had okayed the plans on Wednesday afternoon.
The plans have been listed for approval, but the club could run into difficulties given the scale of the scheme proposed and the upheaval it will bring to the area for both residents and the club itself.
City planners visited Anfield last week to see for themselves what impact the plans will have.
The Project Anfield scheme, which is set to cost approximately £260m, has seen the demolition of an entire row of derelict houses on Lothair Road.
And now the council has given the nod for the club to carry out further plans.
