Old Trafford side have ‘deal in place’ to bring back Real Madrid star.
Man United are reportedly ‘likely’ to re-sign Cristiano Ronaldo according to a report on Sky Sports.
Speculation has been rife in recent weeks that the Portuguese international could make an emotional return to Old Trafford and Real Madrid’s poor start to the La Liga season will only have increased talk of such a move.

Sky Sports’ Spanish football expert Guillem Balague believes everything is in place for such a swoop with the Bernabeu star unhappy with life at the Spanish giants.
“He is unhappy and he’s said so – but then he corrected himself by saying ‘I didn’t mean what he said’. It was a bit confusing.
“Anyway, you have to say he’s not happy that Ozil left and he didn’t like the fact that Xabi Alonso and Di Maria left.
“He has this idea, I think, that at Real Madrid he is doing a job and he is working, but he enjoyed himself almost like a kid at Manchester United.
“He dreams of going back to Manchester United and Manchester United have got all the finances in place to get him.
“When will that be? It depends, of course, on a lot of things. It depends on Real Madrid and on Cristiano himself.
“I have a pretty good idea of when he wants to go. It won’t be this month or next month, but he wants to go back to Manchester United and everything is in place for him to return to Old Trafford.”
Ronaldo has been a phenomenal success since moving to the Spanish capital in the summer of 2009, scoring an astonishing 256 goals in 251 appearances for Real Madrid, however his side have one just one La Liga title in his five completed seasons at the Bernabeu.
Real Madrid have lost two of their opening three La Liga fixtures, the latest set-back being a home defeat to local rivals Atletico, and the arrival of James Rodriguez could perhaps hasten a departure with president Florentino Perez clearly more than capable of luring younger talents to help fill any potential void.
Whether Perez could able fill such a void is debatable given just how much Real Madrid depend on Ronaldo for an end product.
