This source claims that the Old Trafford side ‘expect’ to bring in Juventus star Vidal with boss Louis van Gaal seemingly keen to continue spending on new additions despite having forked out over £150m on signings in the summer transfer window.
Man United have reported a record level of revenue and seem keen to invest heavily in their playing staff, which is perhaps a sensible plan of action given the failures of the last campaign.
The 27 year old Chilean had been struggling with injury concerns but moved to quash talk of any long running issues by stating;
“You can relax, my knee is back to 100 per cent,”
Van Gaal brought in Ander Herrera, Luke Shaw, Marcos Rojo, Angel Di Maria, Daley Blind and Radamel Falcao over the summer and saw his side thump QPR 4-0 on Sunday to record their first win of the season.
