San Siro side chase Anfield bit-part player.
Inter Milan have set their sights on a January move for Liverpool striker Fabio Borini according to CalcioMercato.
The 23 year old Italian international was the subject of bids from both QPR and Sunderland which were accepted by Liverpool but turned down by Borini but a move to the San Siro may prove more tempting.
Borini netted twice in 20 appearances in his first season at Liverpool but enjoyed a better fist of it during his season long loan spell at Sunderland last term, scoring ten times in all competitions and helping Gus Poyet’s side pull off a great escape from relegation to the Championship.
With the likes of Daniel Sturridge, Mario Balotelli and Rickie Lambert ahead of the former AS Roma man in the Liverpool pecking order one would imagine a move to join Serie A side Inter could be one Borini accepts.
