Liverpool’s squad has been a subject of particular interest, and below is the ten most realistic looking Liverpool stars in the new game.
10. Jon Flanagan
Most believe the young defender to look like Cletus the slack jawed yokel from The Simpsons, and the EA developers have captured that likeness perfectly.
9. Lazar Markocvic
The Serb midfielder looks a little too much like a boy band member for our liking, but EA have captured his long locks and wistful gazes into the distance better than PES will.
8. Adam Lallana
The England midfielder has a unique face to say the least, and his mutton chops are in full flow even in the virtual world. Great likeness.
7. Mamadou Sakho
One of the strongest looks on FIFA, they’ve managed to get his intricate hairstyle down to a T, and his facial expressions are brilliant. Truly wonderful work.
6. Simon Mignolet
As good an effort as you’re likely to find on the game, as they’ve managed to include his funny quiff and six o’ clock shadow as well.
5. Dejan Lovren
The Croatian international looks as mean on the game as he does in real life, and fans will be hoping that he can simultaneously clock up a high score in the virtual world as well as put in some heroic performances since signing from Southampton.
4. Jordan Henderson
Complete with doe eyes and customary 1950’s gentleman haircut, EA have done a pretty top notch job or recreating the England midfielder this year.
3. Daniel Sturridge
The England striker may look quite intense here, but the likeness is pretty bang on. Hopefully they’ve included his customary dancing goal celebration too!
2. Raheem Sterling
The youngster looks like the spit of his real self here, and even comes with the moustache he’s trying to grow. Great effort.
1. Steven Gerrard
Who else was it going to be? EA have nailed the midfielder’s trademark furrowed brow, and with Gerrard being one of the most recognised faces in world football his would have been a pretty difficult one to get wrong.
