10) Shinji Kagawa to Borussia Dortmund
After a difficult couple of seasons at Manchester United, Japanese playmaker Shinji Kagawa does not look to have survived the axe under new manager Louis van Gaal, with a return to his former club Borussia Dortmund looking increasingly close to completion.

9) Juan Cuadrado to Barcelona
After a whole summer of speculation surrounding his future, it has now been suggested that Barcelona could be set to win the race for Fiorentina winger Juan Cuadrado. New Barca boss Luis Enrique wants the talented Colombian to play as a wing-back in his 3-5-2 system, and could make the surprise move to offer new signing Douglas to the Serie A club on a loan deal to help seal the move. A move to the Nou Camp is known to have been Cuadrado’s preferred destination, with Manchester United’s interest in the player having cooled since they signed Angel Di Maria from Real Madrid.
8) Javier Hernandez to Juventus
After struggling to find buyers for another backup striker in Danny Welbeck, Manchester United now look set to push through a move to offload Javier Hernandez, who is attracting strong interest from Juventus. The Italian giants have been long-time admirers of the Mexican goal-poacher, who simply hasn’t lived up to expectations at Old Trafford after a great first season with the club back in 2010/11.
7) Petr Cech to AS Monaco
Having fallen behind Thibaut Courtois in the pecking order at Chelsea, it now looks almost certain that experienced goalkeeper Petr Cech will look to leave Stamford Bridge in a bid to continue playing regular first-team football. AS Monaco look to be winning the race for his signature at the moment, with Paris Saint-Germain also known to be interested in the Czech Republic shot-stopper.
6) William Carvalho to Manchester United
Despite long-standing interest from Arsenal and Chelsea, it looks increasingly likely now that Manchester United could be set to complete the signing of Sporting Lisbon defensive midfielder William Carvalho. With moves for bigger names such as Arturo Vidal and Toni Kroos failing this summer, Louis van Gaal has now turned his attention towards the immensely talented Portuguese international, who is widely regarded as one of the most promising young players in Europe and who would certainly make a fine addition to this United midfield.
5) Radamel Falcao to Manchester City
After revelations today, it looks as though Manchester City could be closing in on a surprise swoop for AS Monaco striker Radamel Falcao. The prolific Colombian international has been linked with a whole host of top clubs this summer including Arsenal, Liverpool and Real Madrid, though he now looks set to join an immense set of strikers already on the books at the Etihad Stadium, having spent just one year in Ligue 1 with Monaco. A truly world class signing for Manuel Pellegrini’s side, which should give them a huge edge in this season’s title race.

4) Alvaro Negredo to Real Madrid
With Falcao coming in, it now looks increasingly likely that Real Madrid will instead swoop for City striker Alvaro Negredo, who will surely be relegated to fifth choice in Pellegrini’s squad with their new arrival. The Spaniard was in fine form for the club in the early part of last season, but a poor finish to the campaign looks to have cast serious doubt over his Premier League future and see him move to becoming understudy to Karim Benzema at the Bernabeu.
3) Loic Remy to Chelsea
After agreeing to loan Fernando Torres to AC Milan for the next two years, it is no surprise to see Chelsea move quickly for a new striker, with Queens Park Rangers star Loic Remy seemingly the first choice for Jose Mourinho. The prolific French forward has also been linked with the likes of Arsenal and Liverpool this summer, failing a medical at the latter, but Chelsea seem ready to take a gamble on him, as he can move for a bargain £8.5m due to a release clause in his QPR contract.
2) Luiz Gustavo to Arsenal
Having been linked strongly with Arsenal last summer whilst still at Bayern Munich, it now looks as though Luiz Gustavo’s move to the Emirates Stadium is back on, with the Gunners ready to meet the £26m release clause for the Wolfsburg midfielder. With Mikel Arteta out injured, Arsene Wenger is in desperate need of reinforcements in that position, with the experienced Brazilian international looking the ideal candidate at the moment after failed moves for the likes of Sami Khedira and William Carvalho.
1) Alessio Cerci to Arsenal
In what could be a sensational double swoop late on in this transfer window, Arsenal are also reportedly making progress in their efforts to sign versatile Torino forward Alessio Cerci for around £16m. The Italian club have confirmed that the player wants to move and that they are ready to accept offers for his signature, with the 27-year-old likely to fill in for the injured Olivier Giroud upfront, though he can also do a job out wide, as he showed with some fine form in Serie A last season.
