Thursday was the day that everybody had been waiting for as the teams lucky enough to make it to the group stage of the Champions League found out who they would be coming up against this coming season.
The draw threw out some interesting draws that will see Arsenal take on Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund for the third time in the past four tournaments. They were also handed tricky ties with Galatasaray and Anderlecht.
Chelsea’s draw was a little kinder, pulling them out in Group G alongside Bundesliga outfit Schalke, Maribor and Sporting Lisbon.
Liverpool were given a mixed draw, seeing them alongside defending champions Real Madrid. The will also play Basel, who beat Chelsea twice last term, and Bulgarian champions Ludogorets.
Meanwhile, Manchester City will take on Bayern Munich, CSKA Moscow and Roma, making for one tough group.
