Stamford Bridge side linked with move to sign Alvaro Arbeloa.
Chelsea are reportedly interested in signing want-away Real Madrid star Alvaro Arbeloa according to Spanish source AS.
The former Liverpool man wants to secure a Bernabeu exit before the transfer window closes on Monday night with his future at the club threatened by in-fighting at the Spanish giants.

31 year old Arbeloa has fallen out with keeper Iker Casillas and is set for a limited role this coming season and will look to make a move away from the Spanish capital.
Clearly Blues boss Jose Mourinho knows the right-back well from his time in charge of Real Madrid though it’s not immediately obvious as to why the Stamford Bridge manager would need another full-back.
Currently Mourinho can use Branislav Ivanovic and Cesar Azpilicueta on the right-hand flank though if Arbeloa was available at reduced price then perhaps a move would appeal to Chelsea.
Arbeloa spent two and a half years at Anfield prior to returning to his native Spain in 2009 and former Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez is also tracking the experienced campaigner.
