Porto keen to take midfielder back to Portugal.

Anderson’s former club FC Porto are the latest team to show an interest in signing the unwanted Manchester United midfielder, report the Mail, after domestic rivals Sporting Lisbon were also linked with the Brazilian.
Former United manager Sir Alex Ferguson brought Anderson to Old Trafford from Porto for a £20 million fee in 2007, but he has failed to live up to the hype that surrounded his arrival, with his potential stunting on account of a series of injuries and mediocre performances in a red shirt.
He spent the second half of last season on loan at Fiorentina after being deemed surplus to requirements by David Moyes and also struggled in Serie A, failing to find the back of the net during his short spell in Florence.
Anderson is one of a number of players who the report suggests have been made available for transfer by ruthless new manager Louis van Gaal, and it seems as though he will be on his way out of the club in the near future.
FC Porto will be looking to bounce back from losing out on the title to fierce rivals Benfica last season, whilst will also be mindful of the threat of Sporting, who have signed Nani on loan from Manchester United as part of the deal taking Marcos Rojo to the Red Devils.
