Following Tuesday night’s friendly games involving Chelsea and Manchester United, all 20 Premier League clubs have completed their preseason fixtures.

All are now firmly focused on the greatest domestic competition in the world, which returns this weekend.

Because looking at the blank league table – ordered alphabetically – is driving us mad, we have decided to rank England’s top 20 clubs based on their results in preseason.
