Atletico keen on Serie A winger.

Atletico Madrid could be set to make an improved offer of £15.9m to Torino for in-form winger Alessio Cerci, according to Fichajes.net.
The 26-year-old enjoyed a superb season in Serie A in 2013/14, attracting interest from a host of top Premier League clubs, with Liverpool thought to be among his main suitors in this summer’s transfer window.
However, Atletico are also desperate to bring in new attacking players after the departures of Diego Costa and David Villa from their strike force, and manager Diego Simeone wants Cerci to line up alongside new signing Mario Mandzukic.
It is claimed that the Spanish champions had an initial offer of £9.5m rejected by Torino, but could be more successful with an improved offer as they look the new favourites to snap up the talented Italian international.
With 13 goals and 10 assists in 37 Serie A appearances last season, Cerci looks like a dangerous attacking player who could add something to this Atletico side as they face the difficult challenge of retaining their title in 2014/15.
Their interest in the Torino star may mean Liverpool have to look elsewhere for new signings on the flanks, with Antoine Griezmann of Real Sociedad also reported to be a top target for the Reds.
