The players from the continent who could be on their way to England.
The 2014 World Cup is not only a spectacle but has been used by clubs across the world as a shop window to view potential new signings.
Although not all the players on this list have been at the tournament in Brazil, many of them have, so here’s the 10 Africans who could earn a Premier League transfer this summer.
Vincent Aboubakar, Lorient
Having earned promotion back to the English top flight Leicester City are understandably keen to bring in recruitment to strengthen their squad.
Aboubakar was in fine form in Ligue 1 last term, scoring 16 goals for his side – although the Foxes face competition from Chelsea.

Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu, Udinese

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Borussia Dortmund
Despite only joining Dortmund from Saint-Etienne in 2013 this Gabon striker could already be on his way out of the Signal Iduna Park.
Aubameyang scored 13 Bundesliga goals in his first year in Germany and the Blues want the 25-year-old to bolster their attack.

This young right-back impressed many at the World Cup having arrived on the back of a season where the 21-year-old was named in the Ligue Team of the Year.
Aurier is being heavily linked with Arsenal and although the Reds are also keeping an eye it looks as if the Emirates Stadium will be his next destination.

Andre Ayew, Marseille
Having also impressed at the World Cup with his performances for Ghana the winger has drawn attention from both Brendan Rodgers’ men and their great rivals Manchester United.

Mehdi Benatia, AS Roma
Joining the side from the Italian capital from Udinese last summer, Benatia’s first year in Rome helped his club return to the Champions League after finishing second in Serie A.
However, Benatia has since fallen out with Roma over talks concerning a new contract and Manchester City are among those keeping an eye on developments.

Yacine Brahimi, Granada
One of the more surprising moments of the World Cup so far was Algeria’s progression from Group H at the expense of Russia and South Korea.
Brahimi has been a constant presence for the country in central midfield and Everton are understood to be interested in the African.

Ahmed Musa, CSKA Moscow
Netting twice against Argentina in a 3-2 defeat won’t have done this Nigeria youngster’s reputation any harm and Rodgers is said to be leading the way for the 21-year-old.
Musa is a winger and with Raheem Sterling the only option in the position at Anfield currently, this wouldn’t be such a bad move.

Islam Slimani, Sporting Lisbon
Another Algerian now and a forward who scored against the South Koreans during their 4-2 victory over the Asian nation.
The 26-year-old has been strongly linked with both Stoke City and West Ham United and is likely to cost around £6m.

This midfielder will be well known to English fans having spent seven years with the Gunners before a £16m switch to Barca in 2012.
Since then Song has struggled for game time at the Nou Camp and his former club and the Red Devils are thought to be interested in ending his Spanish frustration.
