Stamford Bridge side want Hamburg youngster.
Chelsea have joined a host of clubs who are to bid for Hamburg midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu according to the Daily Express.

The 20 year old Turkish international had a standout season in the Bundesliga last term, netting 11 times, and is very likely to leave his German side as they narrowly escaped relegation to the second tier via a play-off.
Bayer Leverkusen claim they are leading the race to sign Calhanoglu but one imagines that interest from Chelsea, and fellow Premier League side Arsenal, could tempt the youngster.
Jose Mourinho is in a period of squad re-building and sees Calhanoglu as an ideal long term replacement for veteran Frank Lampard thouh the Hamburg man may be after a guarantee of regular first team football before considering a move to Stamford Bridge.
Calhanoglu will be more than aware of the number of creative midfielders Mourinho has in his squad with the likes of Eden Hazard, Oscar, Willian, Cesc Fabregas set to be joined by youngster Marco Van Ginkel, returning from injury, and Lucas Piazon, likely to return from his time out on loan in Holland.
