Real Madrid Star Trying To Persuade Ex-Manchester United Youngster To Make Bernabeu Move

French striker wants international team-mate to join.Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema has reportedly been trying to persuade his international team-mate Paul Pogba to join him at the Bernabeu this summer, according to Fichajes.com.

The pair are currently on World Cup duty with France together, and with Benzema seemingly close to signing a new contract at Madrid, he could have a hand in helping the Spanish giants land one of their top transfer targets for this year’s window.

Pogba has established himself as one of the best young players in the world since making the move from Manchester United to Juventus back in 2012, and is now thought to be valued at around £60m as a number of top clubs around Europe pursue him before next season.

United have been linked with bringing Pogba back to Old Trafford, while Paris Saint-Germain are also known to be big fans of the 21-year-old, but the chance to play alongside his friend and international colleague Benzema could tempt him to join the Champions League winners instead.

Real are in the market for new signings in midfield, and have also been linked with Pogba’s Juventus team-mate Arturo Vidal, though the Italian giants are desperately hoping to keep hold of both players.
