White Hart Lane side chase a number of top talents.
Tottenham are set for another busy summer as yet another managerial change looks set to lead to a great deal of chopping and changing at White Hart Lane according to the Daily Mirror.
Incoming boss Mauricio Pochettino has met with chairman Daniel Levy and director of football Franco Baldini to discuss a host of talents the Argentine wants to bring to the north London side this summer.
Here are the quarter of talents Spurs will look to sign to help boost their ongoing push for that all important top four finish.
Romelu Lukaku (Chelsea)
Unsurprising that Tottenham would target more firepower given that recent signings Erik Lamela and Roberto Soldado have failed to impress and there is every chance that the 21 year old Belgian will look to leave Stamford Bridge on a permanent basis.
Following successful loan spells at West Brom and Everton the former Anderlecht man may have given up on trying to impress Jose Mourinho and could perhaps be ready to leave Stamford Bridge for their arch rivals.
Dejan Lovren (Southampton)
Tottenham capitulated on a number of occasions last season, with their defence being unable to prevent thrashings at the hands of Liverpool, Man City and Chelsea and rock solid Croatian Lovren may well be a good sensible centre-back to place on Pochettino’s wish-list.
The former Lyon man impressed in his debut season at St Mary’s and could be the latest talent to leave the south-coast club for pastures new.
Toby Alderweireld (Atletico Madrid)
Tottenham’s full-back slots have been something of an issue in recent seasons and though Atletico Madrid had a superb season last term Belgian Alderweireld barely got a look-in.
The former Ajax man, who can play at right-back or centre-back, made just ten La Liga starts and may well be looking for a move that would garner regular first team action and could be tempted to follow his former club team-mate, and fellow countryman, Jan Vertonghen to White Hart Lane.
Yevhen Konoplyanka (Dnipro)
Given that Aaron Lennon, Nacer Chadli and Gylfi Sigurdsson all failed to inspire much confidence last season there could well be scope for a good wide-attacking addition and the Ukrainian international is a quality player Pochettino would do well to secure.
