Anfield side pursue MK Dons teenager.
Liverpool have opened talks with MK Dons as they look to complete a move to sign teenage midfielder Delle Alli according to the Daily Mail.
Anfield boss Brendan Rodgers has already brought in Southampton veteran Rickie Lambert and German battler Emre Can and will look to make 18 year old English wonderkid Alli in a £3.5m deal this summer.
The rangy midfielder made 37 appearances last term and is a player with a great deal of potential and the £3.5m offer could rise to £8m dependent on his success at the Merseyside outfit.
Rodgers is known for his willingness to trust to youth and Alli is considered one of the best talents outside the top tier and has been the subject of glowing praise from MK Dons manager Karl Robinson who stated in March;
‘He is one of the most gifted 17-year-olds this country has ever seen.
‘I’ve said from the word go, he’s as good as it gets and he’s the best young player I’ve ever worked with.’
