Stamford Bridge side target Cameroon international.
French sources claim that Jose Mourinho has taken a surprise fancy to Lorient striker Vincent Aboubakar.
With much talk abound of Chelsea’s interest in a number of possible striking additions it is something of a shock to hear of Mourinho’s interest in a player who isn’t exactly a household name.

There is no denying the impact Aboubakar made in his debut season at the Stade du Moustoir, his 16 goals for the mid-table side were only bettered by Zlatan Ibrahimovic, but the 22 year old may not be a significant improvement on the decidedly average trio of options the Blues boss has to rely upon last term.
Fernando Torres, Demba Ba and Samuel Eto’o all failed to make a significant impact in 2013/14 and that lack of a 20+ goal a season marksman effectively derailed the west London side’s push for major honours, a fact that Mourinho is keen to put right.
It is expected that Atletico Madrid ace Diego Costa will be ushered in to boost Chelsea’s attack so perhaps Aboubakar is seen as a useful back-up option and no doubt the Cameroon international would be keen on a move to the Premier League side.
