The highly rated France international has just enjoyed an eye-catching campaign up front for the Basque giants, with Griezmann now also set to lead the line for Les Bleus at this summer’s Fifa World Cup finals in Brazil, which get under way next month.
The north London club actually tried to land Griezmann in the recent January transfer window, only for his club to insist that the 23-year-old remain at the Anoeta until the end of the campaign.
However, it is understood that Sociedad have now promised their star man that he can leave the club this summer, with Gunners boss Arsene Wenger having already lodged a bid worth £18m for Griezmann according to some media outlets.
Meanwhile, it is also expected that the Old Lady of Italian Football will now follow suit, although the player is believed to favour a move to the Premier League this summer.
