The in-demand Switzerland international is currently enjoying a fine campaign up front for his team in the German top flight, so much so that a number of clubs have reportedly been keeping close tabs on Drmic’s form of late, including the likes of Premier League sides Newcastle United, Everton and West Ham United.
In total so far this campaign, Drmic has managed to register 16 goals and two assists in his 32 Bundesliga outings for his club side, the second-highest number of strikes in the league, and it is those kind of impressive attacking numbers that led to Gunners boss Arsene Wenger sending his scouts to run their eye over the 21-year-old of late.
However, despite the Gunners registering an interest in the player, according to German sports daily Bild Drmic is actually now set to put pen to paper on a contract with Leverkusen instead when the summer transfer window opens.
