Tottenham Hotspur are said to be preparing a summer move for young Lyon midfielder Guida Fofana, according to Football Direct News.

The 22-year-old has been just one of the latest in a line of top young talent to emerge out of the Ligue 1 club this season and he has been touted to make a summer exit alongside the likes of Alexandre Lacazette, Maxime Gonalons and Clement Grenier, who have all also been tipped to move on.
And Spurs are keen on the 22-year-old to replace either Sandro or Etienne Capoue in the defensive midfield position after the pair failed to impress in what has been a difficult season for the north Londoners.
Manchester City and Newcastle United have also been linked with the Frenchman in the last few months, and it would be no surprise if his displays attracted further attention by the time the transfer window re-opens in the summer.
Fofana is yet to win a cap for the senior France side, but has found himself as a late candidate to make the final squad to travel to the World Cup in Brazil.
