The 22-year-old stopper has been in fine form for the Greek giants this season and has been linked with a move to the Premier League for some time, ever since his days with former club AEK Athens.
Everton, who were at the time under the stewardship of Davids Moyes, came close to landing his signature in 2012 before he decided against making the move to Goodison Park. However, Moyes remained a fan and kept a close eye on his career development ever since.
Nemanja Vidic is already confirmed as leaving the club for Inter Milan, while Rio Ferdinand could also be set to follow, leaving United short of quality in central defence, which has seen a host of names linked with moves to Old Trafford in recent months.
Spurs are also said to be keeping tabs on his situation as they face losing Jan Vertonghen this summer, while there are question marks over the futures of Vlad Chiriches and Younes Kaboul too.
However, Moyes is eager to make another offer after getting a chance to see him close up during his side’s Champions League clash with Olympiacos earlier this month.
