Prolific Bundesliga Striker Reveals It’s His ‘Dream’ To One Day Join Arsenal

Prolific 1. FC Nurnberg front man Josip Drmic has claimed that it would be “a dream” to one play for Premier League giants Arsenal, according to reports on Sky Sports.

Rumours have been rife of late linking the young Switzerland international with a move to the Emirates next season on the back of the outstanding season in front of goal that the 21-year-old is currently enjoying in the Bundesliga, where the striker has managed to net 16 goals in just 27 matches.

And as a result, former Germany and Bayern Munich captain Lothar Matthaus, working as a pundit for Sky Deutschland, claimed that the player’s wife was already looking for places to live in London.

However, despite denying those stories to Bild: “At the moment I am single and there is no one house hunting in London,” the player did admit that: “What will happen in the future, I don’t know. Any boy dreams about playing for Arsenal.”

The Swiss is contracted to Nurnberg until the summer of 2017, with that deal understood to contain a buyout clause worth just £5m.
