Anfield side want Lyon hot-shot.
Check in to Liverpool vs Sunderland
Liverpool are readying a summer move for in-form French forward Alexandre Lacazette according to the Metro.
Anfield boss Brendan Rodgers is said to be keen on the 22 year old, who could perhaps be seen as a solid back-up option to unstoppable pair Daniel Sturridge and Luis Suarez.
Alexandre Lacazette has netted 17 goals in all competitions, form that has led to a call-up by Didier Deschamps to the French national team set-up and a possible place in his 2014 World Cup finals squad.
Liverpool scouts have watched Lacazette in action in recent weeks and Rodgers may well be ready to offload Fabio Borini and Iago Aspas to make room for the youngster, who may be seen as a better option to offer support to his star pairing.
Alexandre Lacazette can play up front as well as in a wide-attacking role and it’s this adaptability that may well be the added motivation needed to see Rodgers make a summer move for the talented youngster.
