Red Devils have been chasing the water carrier of late.
Bayern Munich chief Franz Beckenbauer has warned Manchester United target Toni Kroos not to get greedy in his current contract negotiations with the Bundesliga champions, according to reports in the Daily Express.

The Premier League champions have been heavily linked with the coveted Germany international during the course of the past few weeks.
And with the holding midfielder currently involved in a contract dispute with the Bavarian giants, it was believed that the Red Devils stood a good chance to luring Kroos to Old Trafford this summer.
However, Beckenbauer has now told the German in an interview on Sky: “You have to make a decision as a club when someone’s demands are going through the roof. There is not a single player who’s worth changing your entire wage structure for.
“Nobody’s indispensable. If the player wants to stay at Bayern, I can only advise him not to overplay his hand.”
Meanwhile, Bayern sporting director Matthias Sammer claims that the 24-year-old wont be allowed to quit the Uefa Champions League holders this summer.
“Toni has a contract until the summer of 2015 and he will not be going anywhere before then,” Sammer told German sports daily Bild.
“And we are determined to make sure he will stay at Bayern beyond the expiry date of his current deal.
“We really value Toni and have shown so more than once.”
